Congress Foundation Adds New Board Members and Leaders

The Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) announced new board members and officers for 2024. CMF is a nonprofit that helps Congress work better by training staff and providing resources. Five new board members joined, bringing experience from government affairs and corporate leadership. They include John Bivona from Intersection, Shuwanza Goff from Hyundai, Deborah Mazol from Seaman Corporation, Tiffany Moore from Consumer Technology Association, and Armstrong Robinson from UnitedHealth Group. New officers were also chosen: Michelle Richardson as chair, Lea Sulkala as vice chair, Tim Monahan as secretary, and Debra Goldstein as treasurer. Eight outgoing board members were thanked for their service, including former chair Amy Sandgren Plaster and vice chair Laricke Blanchard. Founded in 1977, CMF is a bipartisan organization that has served Capitol Hill for nearly 50 years. The new leadership will help guide CMF's mission to strengthen Congress and help elected officials serve their communities better. This leadership change comes during a time of growth for the organization.
