Help Kids Handle Big Feelings for New School Year

The DoSeum in San Antonio is hosting a special event to help parents, grandparents, and teachers support children with their emotions when starting a new school year. On August 4, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, three experts will share advice: a therapist, a behavior specialist, and an early education director. They will talk about how to help kids understand and manage their feelings during big changes like going back to school. The event happens at The DoSeum Theatre and is inspired by an exhibit called 'Emotions at Play' that teaches kids about feelings through fun activities. After the panel discussion, there will be time for questions from caregivers. The first 15 people who sign up get a free journal to help kids explore their emotions. This event helps adults learn better ways to talk with children about feelings and build stronger relationships across different generations.
