Houston Wilderness Protects Nature Across Greater Houston

Houston Wilderness is a nonprofit group that brings together businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies to protect nature across Greater Houston. They work to save and restore ten different types of natural areas, including forests, prairies, wetlands, and coastal areas around Houston, Galveston Bay, and the Gulf Coast. The organization leads the Gulf-Houston Regional Conservation Plan and offers volunteer opportunities like the Great Green Quest.
