This event uses a "fishbowl" format where people sit in a circle to share their thoughts while others listen. The discussion will explore why people are losing trust in news sources, how different types of media shape what we think, and how regular citizens can find the truth and avoid being misled. People from all political backgrounds are welcome to join this respectful dialogue. The event takes place on Wednesday, July 16 from 7:00-8:30 PM at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Houston. There's arrival time at 6:45 PM and social time afterward until 9:00 PM. This gathering supports The Change Lab's goals of helping people learn about civic issues, bridge differences between groups, and strengthen community voices.
