Nonprofit Foundation Hires Two New Leaders to Help Communities

The Jessie Ball duPont Fund, a foundation that helps build fair communities, has hired two new team members. Ken Shuyama joins as Chief Operating Officer to manage money, staff, and grants. He has lots of experience working with big companies like FIS and Stanley Black & Decker. Brooke Edmondson becomes Events Manager for The Jessie, a community meeting space in downtown Jacksonville. She will plan events that bring people together to solve problems. The duPont Fund works to create equal opportunities and inclusive communities. These new hires will help the foundation work better and have more impact. Ken will focus on making sure the foundation runs smoothly and follows best practices. Brooke will make sure events at The Jessie help people connect and collaborate. Both bring years of experience to their new roles.
