Pass the Feather: Learning About Modern Indigenous People

Join Chief Ladybug and Laughing Eyes from Native Heritage New England to learn about Indigenous people today. Many people think Native Americans only lived in the past, but tribes are still here and active in communities. This event teaches about current Indigenous culture, traditions, and careers. You'll see traditional clothing (regalia), hear drum songs, learn about respect in Native culture, and join a circle dance. There will be a smudge ceremony outside to start, and food and drinks at the end. You can ask questions throughout the event.
