The Irvinton Village neighborhood in Houston might see big changes through a special government program called HUD Choice Neighborhoods. On July 29th at 5:00 PM, residents and business owners are invited to a free community dinner at 6300 Irvington Boulevard to share their hopes and ideas for the future. The Houston Housing Authority is leading this planning effort with help from the City of Houston, LISC Houston, Avenue CDC, and LRK. They want to hear what community members think about housing needs, neighborhood improvements, and new opportunities. This is the planning phase, so no decisions have been made yet. Your voice will help shape what happens next. The dinner is free and children are welcome. You can check in at 5:00 PM for dinner, and the conversation runs from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. This event is part of making sure residents have a say in how their neighborhood develops. Information is available in both English and Spanish.
