This article introduces 'humilitarianism' - a new way of doing politics based on humility, respect, and love instead of fighting and division. The author argues that America's political problems come from an 'us vs them' mentality where people resist and fight each other. Instead of fighting darkness with more darkness, we should replace it with light. Humilitarian people are humble - they admit they don't know everything, judge ideas without judging people, and care more about helping others than being right. They interact with kindness - listening to opponents respectfully and trying to understand different views. Their politics are loving - focusing on people over ideology and testing policies based on real outcomes. The article says 70% of Americans want this approach but it hasn't been clearly defined before. Anyone can become a humilitarian regardless of their political beliefs. The goal is to bring people together instead of dividing them. Rather than waiting for politics to change, individuals can declare themselves humilitarians and be a positive light in the current darkness of American politics.
