This program helps fight anemia in children by providing iron and folic acid vitamins through schools. Anemia makes kids tired and hurts their learning because their blood can't carry enough oxygen. The program works with governments to give children weekly vitamins at school for free. It reaches 27 million children and costs only 50 cents per child per year. Teachers are trained to give out the vitamins safely. The program works in schools and community centers, helping children get healthier and learn better.
